Saving Lives, One Stray At A Time

At Hearts4Cats, we’re on a mission to sterilise, treat and protect stray cats and kittens in Morocco and England, giving them the care and compassion they deserve.

About Hearts4Cats

We’re Paula and Glenn, a couple from Horsham, West Sussex. We share our home with our beloved rescue, Mr Mouse.

We have a deep love for animals and a mission to help the stray cats of Morocco and England. What started as a heartbreaking reality, quickly turned into a passion project - feeding, treating, and sterilising as many cats as we can.

Up until recently, we self-funded our mission, but we’ve seen the overwhelming need to do more. Now, with the help of generous supporters, we’re making a real impact - one stray at a time.

Feed and Treat Strays

Every day, countless stray cats struggle to find food and suffer from preventable illnesses. We provide food and water, flea and worm treatments and basic medical care to help them live healthier, safer lives. With each trip to Morocco, we aim to reach as many cats as possible, ensuring they get the care they desperately need.

TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) and Emergency Vet Care

Many stray cats suffer from severe infections, injuries and illnesses that require urgent attention. We aim to treat the most serious cases and we team up with local vets to provide life-saving care and treatment on an ongoing basis. Our key focus is TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) to prevent future suffering. The end goal is to give these cats a real chance at a healthier, pain-free life and end the cycle of suffering.

Community Engagement

We believe lasting change starts with the local community. By working with kind-hearted residents, business owners and even visiting tourists, we aim to raise awareness about stray cat welfare and encourage compassionate care. From educating children on the importance of animal welfare to organising local support efforts, our goal is to create a community that values and protects its feline neighbours.

Information Hub

Our new Information Hub helps tourists and locals who come across sick or injured cats on the streets. We provide remote support every step of the way - from connecting finders with trusted vets and arranging appointments, to helping secure safe boarding for recovery in local cat hotels. Some travellers even choose to adopt their rescued cats to Europe, and we guide them through that process too. Through the hub alone, we’ve already helped take five cats off the streets of Morocco and supported the TNR of two females in England, making a real difference, one rescue at a time.

Our Goals

At Hearts4Cats, our mission is to create a safer, kinder future for stray cats through sterilisation, emergency care, and outreach. By March 2026, we aim to become a registered Community Interest Company (CIC), allowing us to build credibility, expand our work, and move toward full charity status.

Our key focus area is to develop an educational school program to raise awareness about animal welfare, with an emphasis on the importance of neutering. In addition, we are collaborating with trusted local organisations to deliver sterilisation campaigns, provide medical care, and offer ongoing support to stray cat communities.

With your support, we can break the cycle of suffering and create real, lasting change for these vulnerable animals.
